Lizzy's preschool does a cute performance of Stone Soup every year around Thanksgiving. After the performance, we all sit down to feast on Stone Soup, corn muffins, and pumpkin pie. The kids rehearse the story, bring in ingredients, and even help slice the veggies for the soup the week of the event. The only downer is that there is never enough room to seat everyone comfortably and the chairs are all kid-sized. Ah well, I won't have the privilege again until Charlotte is in preschool. (Is that really in just 1.5 years?)
